These embellished ankle boots by Parisian designer, Barbara Bui are to die for! My heart stopped momentarily the minute I laid my eyes on them. I would sacrifice my Visa card for six months to own a pair of these shoes and you know that’s a big deal for any shopaholic to say.

Why I chose this shoe: the intricate detailed put into Bui’s shoes for fall 2010 is remarkable. The beading is strategically placed on the surface forming a multitude of shapes and patterns, such as a flower mosaic and a starry night sky. This thoughtful design is also rampant with texture as beads and sequins of various colours, sizes and shapes mix and mingle to create seemingly smooth and rough surfaces areas on the outer.
