This hit the World Wide Web just yesterday afternoon – Parisian footwear designer and deity of all shoes with a red sole, Christian Louboutin announced the launch of his 20th anniversary capsule collection.

Several sketches of this collection landed in my inbox providing a glimpse into the 20 styles of shoes and six of handbags offered. The pieces are representative of the many things Louboutin is inspired by such as art, architecture, travel, the world of showgirls and cabaret.

With names like Pensée, La Pluminette and The Copt assigned to these heels it’s very evident how Louboutin gets a surge of brilliance to fashion his designs into such colourful and imaginative footwear.

Facebook fans can sign up to receive an e-mail invitation to be the first to shop the 20th anniversary capsule collection on the official U.S. and Canadian online boutiques this month. The collection will be available in Christian Louboutin boutiques in March.
