I read an article somewhere online that “summer bodies are made in winter.” Whoever made up that saying has, in my opinion, preached the truth.
A Canadian winter can be pretty depressing; not many people opt to frolic outside for leisure or athletic activity, especially in sub-zero temperatures that can cause frost bite in a few minutes or less. However, if you need a little more motivation than an inspirational saying to get your butt back into gear and ready for summer then check out the latest running shoe from adidas.
The new adidas PureBOOST X is the company’s latest running shoe made by women for women; it’s sleek, form-fitting, light, stylish and built for female runners to pound the pavement.
Underneath its bright exterior colours the PureBOOST X contains foam capsules which envelop the foot providing comfort and cushion. The design’s pièce de résistance, though, is the floating foam arch which delivers support and makes your foot look smaller – yay!
adidas’s PureBOOST X retails for $130 CAD and can be purchased online at adidas.ca and in stores February 3.
