There are a few days left in 2014 and it amazes me how the year has flown by. Naturally, it’s a time for reflection, giving thanks and, of course, creating New Year’s resolutions. For some, that means hitting the gym like a ton of bricks, others will commit themselves to eating healthy, take up a new hobby or make smarter financial decisions like refrain from shopping – yah, sure.
Every year there are a handful fashion items that explode onto the style scene that everyone obsesses over and must-have; for example, this past year it was all about crossbody handbags and slip-on sneakers. To give you a head start, here is my pick of the must have shoe for 2015 and it is… the Matisse Messer Loafer (insert a choir of angels singing).
Why did I choose this particular shoe? The boyfriend trend remains a popular style and when you look back on all the shoe trends of 2014 – athletic and slip-on sneakers, loafers and oxfords galore – comfort is key and will continue to be in 2015. Matisse’s Messer blends classic men’s wear style but with an ultra-modern design thanks to its gleaming white patent leather, stacked heel and thick white treads. Just imagine wearing this bad boy with a pair of dark skinny jeans and matching shirt or a black A-line skirt – I’m in shoe heaven. And guess what? It can be yours!
