It’s been a long time since I’ve featured a shoe by British designer Sophia Webster, but that doesn’t mean my love for her whimsical creations have waned in any way, shape or form. Oh no my friends! I’m still obsessed with her shoes but try not to bombard you with my endless rants. However, every now and then, I can’t hold back on my fangirl footwear tendencies and it surfaces in the form of a blog post or a major credit card purchase – eek!
One such design by Webster which ignited by latest “we’re not worthy moment” is the Roka from her fall 2014 collection. Just look at this hot number! The silhouette of a classic pump is reinterpreted to blur the lines between shoe and ankle bootie; the cuff, at the back of the heel, is raised to sit just above ankle and it has a wrap-around strap to keep your foot in place. Shiny rose gold accents in zigzag patterns are offset by rich, matte black suede outer which says, “Wear me now and forever more!” Buy online.
