In case you weren’t aware fashion bloggers take our shopping very seriously and because of that we accumulate an Everest size mountain of clothes, shoes and accessories. However, after a while, said mountain becomes an almost unsurmountable obstacle when trying to add more stylish pieces to our wardrobe because, really, a closet can only hold so much.
So, this past weekend Toronto’s top fashion bloggers and I got together for the second #BloggerBazaarTO and opened up our closets to sell our stuff and, in my case, several never worn before designer pieces.
We took over the third floor of the Soho House and had a blast meeting our readers and devoted shopaholics – we aim to enable! Designer pieces by big names such as Nicholas Kirkwood, Sonia Rykiel and Jimmy Choo were up for grabs and my fellow bloggers and I found it was extremely difficult to restrain ourselves from shopping each other’s table – Anya I still have the grey wool fedora for you!
Plus, 10 percent of the proceeds from the bazaar were donated to Corsage Project, a Toronto-based non-profit charity which helps young women and men in need who don’t have the means to afford an authentic prom experience.
Thank you again to our readers and shoppers for coming out and lending their support. And an extra big thank you to our sponsors for being so kind in donating to the killer gift bag swag: ALDO, Artemano, Call It Spring, Dove, eLUXE, essence, FLARE magazine, Forever 21, Le Chateau, Miraj Hammam Spa by Caudalie Paris, Roots, TRESemme and vitaminwater.
See you at the next bazaar!
